God has given us a good week. We have yet to hit a ministry slow down, but I anticipate a bit more time next week when I'm not doing flyers. We've put a few more videos online.

The first is a message I preached to the teens on Psalm 91 on Getting Victory Over Fear. I preached it at the end of last month as we saw the pandemic coming. I felt like the Lord wanted me to record it and share it online. Please pray that people in our community will listen in and hear the Gospel.

Katie also recorded her Thursday night Kid's Club Lesson and I uploaded my Thursday night Bible study from our study of the book of James.

We decided to take out a facebook add with the recording I uploaded of our Wonderful Peace Trio. Please pray that God will help those with open hearts find it.

We appreciate your prayers very much. 

Well, it was a short window for delivering the flyer. But, praise the Lord, just over 1,000 flyers were put out. I appreciate your prayers for God to work in the hearts of those who received them. I'm looking forward to ministry on the other side of this virus. We'll see how long until we are able to get back out with literature in our community.

We are getting ready to have church with our family. Last Sunday we watched Katie's SS lesson and my sermon in the morning. For our "Sunday night service" we watched Dr. Alton Beal preach a message. Dr. Beal is the president of Ambassador Baptist Bible College. My brother-in-law (Nate Metcalf) has been hired as the new Dean of Men there and we're excited about what God is doing at Ambassador. Please pray for Nate and Rachael's family as they get ready to move there in June, Lord willing.

The message God put on my heart for this Sunday is, "Living On the Verge of Victory" from Exodus 6. Moses has been called to lead the Children of Israel out of Egypt. It appears to be going very badly, but in reality victory was just around the corner. God encouraged Moses to believe he was on the verge of victory, by reminding him of three key truths. 1) Who God is. 2) What God has done. 3) What God will do.

PS. I uploaded a video of a trio, "Wonderful Peace" which we sang at our church a few weeks ago. Please share it on facebook if you are able. The message is just what our world needs right now.

The flyer arrived yesterday and I was able to start putting it out yesterday afternoon. I was also able to get out this morning. The Lord's helped me to get around 600 into mail slots so far. Please pray that people will turn their heart to fear God. "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom." 

Although I'm not seeking to speak with people because of the social distancing and lockdown. I did have a divine appointment this morning for which I thank the Lord. I told this young mother about our facebook SS lessons and kids club lessons and she said that she would look for them online. 

Please pray for our online ministry - Katie as she prepares these lessons and presents them. Myself as I prepare online messages. This event has great potential to awaken people's hearts including those who are saved. We appreciate your prayer for the hearts of those in our area.

We have been blessed with good weather since the isolation time. We had a really rough winter with lots of wind and rain. It's a blessing to be able to get some gardening started and catch up on some garden projects. We reclaimed some pallets and built a fence in our small back garden. We have a large front and side garden as well.

I've begun recording our midweek Bible study and presenting it online. We are studying a very practical book just now, James. We're on James 3 and the first recorded Bible lesson is on the tongue. If you are interested, here is a video link and an audio link.

Please pray for wisdom regarding the flyer. I think it may come today assuming deliveries are being made. It has finished printing and shipped.

This morning the Lord helped me write a flyer, Covid-19 - The Faith Response. Lord willing, I will be able to start putting these out next week. It usually takes about a week to get flyers once they are ordered. I've been praying about a new flyer and I'm thankful the Lord had me wait until this developed. Please pray for the power of God upon these pieces of paper. We long to see people turn to God during this time of trial.

God's good. He's helping us get a good start to this week. Thank you for your prayers.

It is wonderful today to have gorgeous weather as we meet together online as a church. We found out on Wednesday that the place we meet for church is no longer open due to the virus. God has given us great grace. Katie has worked hard to bring Kids Club and SS to our church on our church facebook page.

God helped me preach my first message to an online audience only. I preached on Godly Motherhood as this is our Mother's Day in the UK.

The Lord has also given grace to process some big changes in our furlough plans as we will be delayed at least a month in our departure to the States. Please pray for the Andersons and ourselves as we pray through this changing situation and seek God's mind for His plans.

We appreciate your prayers for Scotland and the UK. May God use this virus to awaken people to His truth and that they stop living as if there is no God. God is so very very good. We are seeing His blessings every day.

Pastor Dillman has had hip problems. So, today we went to the mall in Livingston and handed out Gospel flyers to people entering and exiting the mall. People were pretty receptive. I had one divine appointment with a muslim man in his 60's. His name is Asa. I spoke with him for around 20 minutes. It was very good and he was thoughtful. He took a John and Romans. Please pray that his mind would be opened to the truth of the Gospel.

Please pray for Don's leg pain to go away and for his healing. I know he would appreciate your prayers.

Our family has been reflecting on things that don't change....seasons, sunrise, sunset, etc. Obviously the most stedfast is God, His Word, His sovereign rule etc. Praise God for things that stay the same.

I enjoyed doing my normal routine this morning and putting flyers out through mail slots. I had a good small divine appointment with a man in his early 20's or late teens. It wasn't a very long conversation, but I hope that this guy gets saved. He had a great spirit about him. I'd love to disciple some young men who get excited about God's truth.

Kay Lee had some disappointment last night. She's been working very hard on her violin for her grade 5 exam which was to be next Tuesday. She's all ready for it, but they cancelled it last night due to the virus. Praise God - His way is best and she knows that. Please pray for God to help her prepare again in the future. 

It was a sunny Monday morning and God allowed me to get into Edinburgh. We weren't able to door to door last night as it downpoured right at our outreach time. God knows.... we enjoyed some fellowship time.

I had one opportunity to engage someone in conversation this morning. Michael is Orthodox religion. Please pray for God to awaken his heart. He was cordial but standing on the opposing side against the Word of God.

A funny conversation was with an older man who said, "You know our great philosopher, David Hume. You should follow Him." I said, "No, I'll follow Thomas Chalmers, he's in Heaven." He said that the only thing I can enjoy is this life and that I had better make the most of it. I replied that he can't say that. He said, "I just did." I said, "The devil says a lot of lies and I don't believe him either." It was a conversation in good humour. Please pray for God to awaken that old atheists heart.
