The Lord has given us some very encouraging Sundays. There is a sweet spirit in the church and we have seen good attendance. Today we had 32 in our morning service and Sunday School. Everyone was there for SS and church.  My mom taught Sunday School for our children. My dad and aunt share testimonies. Aunt Bonnie and her husband smuggled Bibles into communist countries. She shared testimonies about God's gracious protection as they risked imprisonment to share his Word. My dad shared the testimony of his car wreck. Dad lost his first family in a terrible accident. His back was broken and it appeared that he would either die from his injuries or be paralyzed. It's an awesome story of God's grace and healing hand.

Dad preached on  the rich young ruler this morning and a message on music this evening. We had good attendance this evening as well. Thank you for keeping up with what God is doing in our church. We need your prayers and thank you for your interest in accessing God's power for our ministry.

We are just back from a four night stay away. The Lord allowed us to get a nice holiday up in the highlands this week. We are refreshed and very thankful for God's goodness. The weather was great and the scenery was lovely. I took some pictures on my walk this morning. I'll put a couple below. I'll put additional holiday pictures on our photo page. Thanks for your prayers. God gave several good opportunities to share the Gospel up there. Please pray for Mark. I witnessed to him last Monday. He is a very nice atheist. Please pray that God will awaken his heart.

The Lord gave us a good turnout today. We had a returning visitor who was away for several months. We also had a visitor from New Zealand. He found us on the web and visited. His family was from Loanhead but he was born in Edinburgh. The rest were regular attendees.  In total we had 35 including my mom, dad and aunt. 

I preached this morning on The Prodigal and Pharisaical Sons from Luke 15. The Lord blessed our time together and we had good fellowship afterwards. On the next two Sunday nights my dad is going to be preaching on what the Bible teaches about music.

Thanks for your part in our ministry. God's hand is evident in answer to your prayers.

The Lord gave us a good midweek service last night. It's fun to have my family here to participate in ministry. Dad is going to preach on music during the next two Sunday evening services. He is also going to share a challenge at the men's prayer breakfast tomorrow and preach next Sunday morning.  Mom is helping Katie by doing the kid's services while they are here.  And all of them will be participating in special music. Please pray for God's special blessing as we enjoy serving the Lord together.  Thanks for your prayers for our ministry.

My mom, dad and aunt arrived today. The Lord gave them good flights over here and they are beginning to adjust to our time zone. It's fun to show them the home the Lord has provided and to let them see our area. They will also be participating in our ministry while they are here. Mom is going to help in the kid's club and dad will be preaching for some of our services. We are anticipating some memorable days ahead!

It was a joy to have a mother and four children with us this morning as a direct result of our HBT. They intend to keep coming. We also had two other adult visitors and a child. Our church people were also faithful and God gave us a good day.

I preached this morning on the story of the ten lepers found in Luke 17. Please pray that the Gospel seed will bare fruit. Thanks for praying for our ministry. 

"The Lord hath done great things for us whereof we are glad."  God has been very good to our church. The team that came to assist us was a perfect compliment to our ministry. Our church people stepped up and filled in any gap that they could. We had a total of 32 children come this week. Tonight we had a fun program. I wish you could have been there to see the kids sing and share their verses. Afterwards we had barbecued hotdogs and soda. It was a really fun night.  

The kids also made badges (buttons) with a badge maker our church purchased for this week. Those badges were an extra blessing as the kids earned them all week long.

There are some who have said that they will be attending this Sunday. Praise the Lord and thank you for your prayers this week. 

Note - We had 40 in attendance tonight and one girl who has attended our church for several years prayed to accept Jesus. :) Amen

It was a beautiful day and a lot of fun. We enjoyed having our highest attendance ever of 27 kids today.  Each day we have met for a half hour prayer time before HBT. We have seen the Lord answer some very specific prayer request. Please pray for our final day tomorrow. We have a morning and evening meeting to conclude our week.  Thank you for praying for our week. It has reminded us of the goodness of God and has been a blessing to our church.

There was a really good spirit today and the weather allowed us to have game time outside. We had 19 children without any new ones. So, that was a pretty good return. We have invited others today and are still praying for some new ones to come. 

What a great start!  The Lord blessed us with 23 children yesterday. They all enjoyed it. The day was overcast and rainy. But, it didn't hinder the attendance at all and may have helped. 

The program ran very smoothly. The visiting team and our church folks worked very hard to make it a great day. Thanks for praying.
